Influencer Hajia4real from Ghana was extradited to the United States over an alleged $2 million romance scam.

 

US federal authorities said on Monday (May 15, 2023) that Hajia 4Real had been extradited from the UK to the US for allegedly defrauding elderly, single American men and women out of over $2 million in a depraved lonely hearts scam.

Mona Faiz Montrage, also known as Hajia 4Reall, a 30-year-old woman, made an appearance in Manhattan federal court on Monday (May 15, 2023) for her alleged involvement in several romance scams that preyed on elderly individuals who were living alone, according to the prosecution.

She entered a not guilty plea to the allegations, and the prosecutor's office and her attorney both verified that she will soon be freed on a $500,000 bail with GPS tracking to her aunt's New Jersey home
